Corbett joined Serpe Andrews as an associate in August 2021. His practice is primarily focused on medical malpractice defense and complex commercial litigation, but extends to the areas of professional malpractice, construction litigation, personal injury, and wrongful death actions.
Prior to joining Serpe Andrews, Corbett guided clients through various commercial matters ranging from fiduciary litigation to trade secret protection, real estate and construction disputes, and corporate governance issues. He has represented a wide array of clients, including those in the medical, energy, financial services, insurance, hospitality, and professional sports industries.
Corbett graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2018, where he served as the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law, assisted in the pro-bono legal representation of low-income members of the Houston community in the Law Center’s Consumer Law Clinic, and served on the school’s Honor Board.
Before obtaining his J.D., Corbett graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then went on to work in the health care field, where he traveled the country overseeing operations and directing audit compliance for biological facilities that were involved in the preparation of plasma fractions for international clinical use.
