Jimmy Smith joined Serpe Andrews, PLLC as an associate in April 2025. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, professional malpractice, and construction defect disputes.
Before joining the firm, Jimmy gained extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of civil matters, including business torts, contract disputes, and construction liability claims. He has appeared in both state and federal courts, managing cases from pre-suit investigation through trial. His practice has also involved handling sensitive matters, including professional liability and high-stakes family law disputes, which has honed his ability to navigate complex legal issues with discretion and strategic focus.
Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University in 2012 and his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2018. He was licensed to practice law in Texas that same year.
When he’s not practicing law, Jimmy enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, staying active, and getting lost in a good book. He tries to find fulfillment in the simple things—quiet mornings, a well-made meal, or a good conversation.
