Alexa joined Serpe Andrews as an associate in August 2023. Her primary practice area is civil litigation.
During her time in law school, Alexa competed on several Baylor Law advocacy teams in state and nation-wide competitions. In 2022, Alexa served as captain of the Baylor Transactional Health Law team, winning a National title at the Edward L. Bryant National Health Law Competition. In addition to her advocacy involvement, Alexa served as President of the Hispanic American Law Association and completed a professional track in healthcare law. Alexa was recognized for her achievements in the healthcare law program with the Ron J. Anderson Law and Medicine award, named to one student annually. Outside of law school, Alexa worked for various civil litigation firms and served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Judge Martin Hoffman of the 64th Civil District Court.
Before earning her Juris Doctorate, Alexa graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a certificate in Statistics and Data Science. With these experiences, Alexa is prepared to work with her clients on a broad range of civil matters.
