Allison Long joined Serpe Andrews as Of Counsel in 2025. Allison’s practice is primarily focused on medical malpractice actions, healthcare litigation, commercial litigation, as well as healthcare operations and compliance.
Prior to joining the firm, Allison worked in higher education as Healthcare Counsel, specializing in healthcare operations and compliance. In addition to her in-house experience, Allison has also litigated cases in both Louisiana and Texas representing clients in a variety of legal matters. Her litigation experience encompasses medical malpractice defense, commercial litigation, construction, products and premises liability, employment, trucking and transportation litigation, and general casualty.
Allison graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University, before graduating magna cum laude from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2014. While in law school, Allison served as the Pro Bono Director of the Public Interest Law Society, served as a judicial extern to Chief Justice Bernette J. Johnson of the Louisiana Supreme Court, served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Suzan Ponder, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
While not working, Allison enjoys being outdoors, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two boys.
