Jasim joined Serpe Andrews as an associate in June 2025. His primary practice area is civil litigation with a focus on medical malpractice and health care litigation.
Jasim gradated from the University of Houston Law Center as a member of the Order of the Barons in December 2023, earning both a J.D. and an LL.M. in Health Law. While at the University of Houston, he served as an articles editor on the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy, clerked for the United States Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General, and won the Houston Health Law and Policy Institute and John B. Niebel Scholarships for excellence in health law in consecutive academic years.
Prior to joining the firm, Jasim worked for a plaintiff’s medical malpractice firm. During that time, he gained valuable experience into the workings and processes of medical malpractice from the plaintiff’s perspective, which has in turn helped him become a stronger advocate for defense.
Outside of the office, Jasim is a big fan of playing and watching basketball, especially the San Antonio Spurs, who he often represents proudly in hostile territory at the Toyota Center.
