Amy H. Craft joined Serpe Andrews as a Partner in 2025. Amy has more than 20 years of litigation experience in Texas, Washington, and New Mexico. Since beginning her practice in 2004, Amy has developed a reputation as a strategic and persuasive advocate for clients facing complex civil litigation, including healthcare defense, governmental liability, and insurance coverage disputes. In 2025, Amy, along with Melissa K. Roeder, opened the Washington office encompassing an experienced and high-performing litigation team. The Seattle office has become a key part of the firm’s national practice, serving clients across the Pacific Northwest with the same commitment to excellence that defines Serpe Andrews nationwide.

Amy defends hospitals, physicians, insurers, and public agencies in high stakes matters involving medical malpractice, civil rights, sex abuse, professional liability, and catastrophic injury claims. She also regularly represents clients in coverage litigation, with recent trials in Washington state involving disputes over policy interpretation and alleged bad faith and IFCA violations. Her ability to distill complex facts and legal issues into compelling courtroom presentations has resulted in a track record of success both through the settlement negotiation process and the courtroom.

Amy has experience with Zoom trials (securing a defense verdict in King County, Seattle, WA via Zoom) as well as in-person trials in both state and federal court demonstrating her adaptability and effectiveness in emerging trial formats. She is experienced in managing multi-party litigation and coordinating defense strategies across jurisdictions.

Amy is licensed to practice in Texas and Washington and is frequently called upon to handle cases with overlapping state and federal issues. She is valued by clients for her practical counsel, rigorous preparation, and steady leadership from initial investigation through verdict and appeal.

Amy graduated cum laude from South Texas College of Law where she a member of Law Review. Amy has a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. Her hobbies include running, cycling, hiking, and spending time in the mountains or at the lake with her dog.
